FireSprint, a print service provider based in the US, has more than 20 years of experience providing services in large-format, from banners and event signage, to packaging and POP displays. As a growing company, it sold everything from print, to websites, to full-color vinyl graphics in Omaha and more. It is a wholesale, trade only sign printer, taking care of printing signs, and other graphics for the design, advertising, and printing industries. Ninety-eight percent of its business ships out of state.
FireSprint has been consistently growing, and it gives some of that success to its implementation of OnPrintShop (Booth N1607).
Requirements
FireSprint was looking for a partner that would allow it to offer:
- A robust, online presence
- Quick order turnaround for custom-size products
- Wholesale website
- The ability to manage the brand identity and brand compliance of its B2B customers
Solution Highlights
The company started with a generic e-commerce, and then implemented the OnPrintShop Subscription Solution in 2016. It immediately saw the benefits with the increase in the number of orders and automated flow. In 2017, it migrated to the custom Web-to-print solution, as it trusted OnPrintShop to achieve some unique customizations like accurate shipping costs, backend production, workflow integration, and reseller specific-pricing.
With OnPrintShop’s help, it was able to set up a standard solution to offer wide-format ordering for B2B and resellers. It could also set-up freight shipping, packaging dimensions, and max weight per package for every wide-format product, which allowed it to automate the shipping calculation and actual shipping using a third party API. It integrated Dropbox as well for large file transfers. Production management was also set up in order to track the printing stages and shorten the delivery cycles.
It was also assigned a private B2B branded store with specific templates, as well as products that allowed it to manage its corporate structure more effectively.
Benefits
Save Time: Time saved in ordering due to self-ordering and online estimation features. Reduction in the order turnaround time with system auto-generated invoices, job tickets and auto-transfer of new orders to production using hot folders.
Increase in Resellers: With competitive pricing and an easy ordering process, the number of resellers increased. In fact, there was progress in the reduction of client anxiety due to auto-status update that helped in proactive communication.
Increase in Client Retention: With easy ordering and reordering, their corporate client retention rate has also increased.
“Being associated with OnPrintShop is one of the best decisions that we have made, and we have been growing 20% to 40% per year consistently since our start,” says Gene Hamzhie, president.
