FDC Graphic Films recognized 10 valuable employees named as Core Values Ambassadors for the fourth quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 for exemplifying one or more of the company’s five core values.
FDC’s Core Values are believed to be the five most important values in the way the company employees live and work: integrity, kindness, resiliency, engagement, and drive for success.
“These team members demonstrate their commitment to the Core Values through their actions, which makes me very proud,” said Judy Eck, CEO of FDC. “Thank you to all of the nominees. It is a pleasure to be surrounded by a team that is passionate about FDC’s goals and exhibits compassion toward one another every day.”
A Reno team was recognized for their resiliency and drive for success. Team members include Production Associate Jorge Barajas, Team Lead Fernando Cocoletzi-Gomez, and Production Associates Carter Cox and Justin Mohr. On a large order day, and down a key team member, Barajas, Cocoletzi-Gomez, Cox, and Mohr all worked together each taking turns tackling all the tasks necessary to fulfill all the orders within the same day—whether it was material handling, production, boxing, or shipping. It was impressive how well the team completed the challenge.
This is Barajas’ second award, the first was for his engagement in 2021. This is Cocoletzi-Gomez’s fourth award consecutively by year, for his drive for success in 2020 and 2022, and for his engagement in 2021. This is Cox’s second award, the first was for his resiliency in 2021. This is Mohrs’ third award, the first and second were both for his drive for success in 2022.
A South Bend team was recognized for their drive for success. Team members include Receiving Supervisor Ben Birch, Scheduler Art Montez, and Shipping Supervisor Joshua White. When an order entry error hit, Birch, Montez, and White quickly stepped in to help ship some special slit laminate rolls for a customer’s immediate needs so they didn’t have any delays in their project.
Jason Harmon, East Sales Manager, was recognized for his integrity, kindness, drive for success, and engagement. Harmon’s nominator described him as “Someone who is consistently positive and generous with his time.” He has gone out of his way with training the nominator in a new position, helps to review spreadsheets, and creates Sales PowerPoint presentations.
This is Harmon’s second award. The first was for his engagement and drive for success in 2020.
A second South Bend team was recognized for their drive for success. Team members include Production Associate Laquwone Harris and Receiving Associate Tim Weber. When Harris and Weber found out that the company would be down five key team members suddenly one day, they offered to stay late, with a positive mindset, to help with the last push of same-day shipping orders. They sacrificed their Friday night to make sure that FDC could still serve its customers on time, complete, and error-free.
Each employee received an FDC Core Values Ambassador Award certificate from the FDC Work-Life Team signed by Eck.
