WFI: What motivated you to attend the Expo this year?
Hayward: We have attended trade shows for the last three years, and last year’s show in Atlanta, GA, was absolutely mind-blowing. The innovative ideas and networking opportunities were incredible, making it clear that we had to attend this year’s event in Las Vegas. The printing industry is evolving rapidly and the Expo provides an invaluable platform to stay updated with new technologies and industry trends, connect with other professionals, meet vendors in person and discover the latest technologies that can enhance our offerings and integrate them into our operations at Making it Personal 2. This year, our primary motivation for attending the Expo is we want to stay at the forefront of industry innovations.
WFI: If you're returning, what brings you back?
Hayward: We came back to learn about the latest printing technologies and materials that can enhance our service offerings. We are also eager to gain insights into emerging industry trends and best practices that can help us improve our efficiency and sustainability. We are also looking forward to connecting with other entrepreneurs and experts to share experiences and ideas. It is always a valuable opportunity to be able to network with other industry professionals and potential partners.
WFI: Which products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing at the Expo?
Hayward: We are particularly excited to see the latest innovations from leading brands in digital printing and 3D printing. Companies like HP, Canon, and Epson always showcase groundbreaking technologies that set new standards in the industry. Additionally, we are eager to explore new offerings in custom apparel printing and eco-friendly materials, as well as innovative solutions for event-specific products like backdrops, banners, and floor decals. These advancements can greatly enhance our product range and service quality at Making it Personal 2.
WFI: How do you plan to maximize your time at the Expo?
Hayward: We’ve planned a detailed schedule. We’ve prioritized key classes and workshops that align with our company’s goals, particularly those focusing on sustainability and new technologies. We’ve also carved out time to meet with potential suppliers, overseas vendors and partners in advance. We will also be attending networking events and visiting the booths of companies on my must-see list to ensure we cover all areas of interest while at this year's event.
WFI: How do you think attending the Expo will impact your business or career?
Hayward: Attending the Expo will have a profound impact on both my business and my career. For Making it Personal 2, the insights and connections we gain will enable us to enhance our service offerings, adopt more sustainable practices, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Personally, the Expo will broaden my knowledge, refine my entrepreneurial skills, and spark new ideas for business growth and innovation. It's an invaluable opportunity to stay ahead of industry trends and solidify our position as leaders in the printing and custom apparel space.
