WFI: What motivated you to attend the Expo this year?
Burns: We never miss a PRINTING United Expo. We love seeing all the new equipment and technologies that are available as well as attending the educational workshops.
WFI: If you're returning, what brings you back?
Burns: The networking opportunities at this Expo are priceless. Every year we attend, we gain lifelong connections that help us continue to expand our business.
WFI: Which products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing at the Expo?
Burns: Currently being in the market for some new finishing equipment, Colex will be at the top of our list this year. We will definitely be stopping by the Arlon, Drytac, and Orafol booths to see what technological innovations the film manufacturers are working on. And as always, we will spend a good portion of our time demonstrating new installation techniques in the PDAA booth.
WFI: How do you plan to maximize your time at the Expo?
Burns: By attending as many educational workshops and after-hours networking events as possible.
WFI: How do you think attending the Expo will impact your business or career?
Burns: That’s the fun part of these events. We never know who we will meet or what equipment and software we might find that will help grow our businesses or up our workflow efficiency. We just know from all our past visits that we will come out of this event more educated and in tune with the current direction of the industry. And we will have made new connections and colleagues to collaborate our business practices with.
