WFI: What motivated you to attend the Expo this year?
Atchley: I'm always a huge fan of these expos and try to make a point of attending every year. While some things are consistent, there's always something new — from a contact to a new vendor, materials, processes, or equipment.
There's always a massive "pull" for me to these events. Dare I say, kid in a gigantic candy store?!
WFI: If you’re a first-time attendee, what are you hoping to learn? If you're returning, what brings you back?
Atchley: Every year, there's something new and exciting to see and experience. The content, vendors, booths, seminars, and workshops are amazing and great for keeping up with this incredible industry. They always bring me back year after year!
WFI: Which products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing at the Expo?
Atchley: I'm definitely a huge creative and geek out on all the new tech out there. I'm looking to see (in person) what's the latest and greatest in print, finishing, and production/installation tech!
WFI: How do you plan to maximize your time at the Expo?
Atchley: By planning out my days down to the minute (of course with some "wandering" time as well), I usually am able to hit up all the vendors I'm interested in learning more about, network with industry pros and contacts, and schedule some of the seminars and workshops ahead of time! Never a wasted minute!
WFI: How do you think attending the Expo will impact your business or career?
Atchley: These events always have an impact. Sometimes seemingly small or simple and other times in huge ways. From discovering a new piece of equipment or processes to meeting a new potential client or vendor. Even the brand recognition of attending is valuable!
