The PRINTING United Expo — October 18-20 in Atlanta — is quickly approaching, and attendees are gearing up for a week of learning, networking, and inspiration. Founded in 1749, Washington and Lee University (W&L) is the 9th oldest college in the United States, even older than the U.S. Constitution. It’s Copy Services in-plant works in conjunction with the publications department at the University. The publications department has a team of designers who can create posters or brochures for various committees or organizations.
Additionally, W&L Copy Services can provide a variety of printing services to the student body, faculty, and staff, including: Black/White Copies (up to 13 x 19), Color Copies (up to 13 x 19), Large-Format Posters, Lamination, Book Binding, Numbering/ Perforating, Cutting, Folding/Stapling, Padding, Hole Punching, Postcards, Posters, Business Cards, Tickets, Booklets, Invitations, Brochures, Programs, and Newsletters.
WFI: What made you decide to attend this year's Expo?
Rhodes: I was invited by Tim King of OFFIX. I have not been to a show in over 20 years.
WFI: If you've been before, what brings you back?
Rhodes: I want to see the newest in technology and hear about the newest techniques in production.
WFI: How do you plan and make the most of your time at the Expo?
Rhodes: I will be researching the newest in digital equipment and talking to vendors.
WFI: How do you hope attending will impact your business/career moving forward?
Rhodes: I hope it will help me focus on equipment and technology that will help us increase productivity and profits.
