Everything You Need to Know About Large-Format Installations

One of the final sessions at 2018 SGIA Expo will be on large-format installations. Steve Reininger, Director of National Sales at New Image Technology, will lead the session about finding the right installer and avoiding the wrong one. It takes place today at 10:30 am in room N114.

The presentation will focus on the details behind a good large-format installation, knowing how to find the right company to do your installation, knowing what red flags to look out for to avoid a bad installation and helping to make sure your installation goes smoothly.

“There are so many things that can make or break an installation,” Reininger says. “The bottom line is, the customer is happy or isotactic when your crew leaves.”

A bad installation can ruin an otherwise good purchase, so Reininger believes the installation is vital. To help with this, he will discuss some of the key questions to ask to make sure a company gets the correct installer for their job. Ultimately, he wants to teach attendees how to look for the wide-format installer they need to prevent any installation issues in their future.

“I want them to leave feeling that they have learned what questions to ask when interviewing an installer for a project,” Reininger says. “If they know what to ask, then answers they receive should give them confidence in the abilities of that installer.”
