NEW YORK — September 18, 2018 — Duggal Visual Solutions, a leading global printing and graphics provider headquartered in New York, has acquired fellow New York-based design and production house, NCG Visuals.
The joint announcement came from Duggal CEO, Mike Duggal, and NCG President/CEO, Scott May, two widely recognized figures within the printing industry.
"We are excited to have Scott and his team join the Duggal family to help us continue to lead and revolutionize the digital printing industry," Duggal said. "Our existing long-term relationship and experience partnering on projects together will lead to a smooth transition for the NCG team and their clients."
May founded NCG in 1987 as a commercial printing company. Adapting to a changing landscape, he positioned NCG as a print production firm and aligned NCG with wide-format and environmental graphics trends that led the company to impressive success.
Duggal Visual Solutions is one of the largest privately held printing companies in the United States and a trusted partner in helping the world's leading image-makers communicate visually with their audiences and customers. Duggal's clientele is widely spread among top global retailers, Fortune 500 corporations, museums, galleries, non-profit organizations, photographers, visual artists and designers.
May and Duggal first met nearly 20 years ago. The two collaborated frequently through the years, sharing in common the pride and perseverance of running a family business. Their working relationship continued to grow, as did their respective companies, eventually leading to talks of an acquisition that would allow NCG greater access to Duggal's vast capabilities and resources.
"I have always been impressed with Mike, his team, and the trajectory of his company," May said. "I wanted to align my business with a group that has an eye on the future and can add to our offerings at NCG. There is simply no better brand than Duggal in the printing industry. This is an exciting transition for both organizations and our clients."
