DreamWraps, a premier vinyl wrap and graphic design company in Newport News, VA, is using Drytac products to deliver wall coverings to residential and business customers in North America.
As well as delivering customized wall murals, DreamWraps offers signage solutions, full vehicle wraps, commercial fleet graphics, marine/boat and watercraft wraps and decals, event flooring and more. Co-Founder Sharita Johnson, explains, “Our aim is to bridge the gap between fine art and the rapidly growing world of vinyl printing. We look to bring our customers’ ideas to life with the endless possibilities that digital printing can deliver.”
DreamWraps’ wall covering vinyl of choice is the range of ReTac Textures products from Drytac (Booth 2341). Johnson says, “We first came across Drytac at the SGIA Conference in New Orleans in 2017. We were really impressed with the quality of the media and the colors we could reproduce on them. We also loved the range of textures and the fact that even after many years, the film can be easily removed without leaving any residue.”
ReTac Textures has been developed to add depth and visual appeal to static, flat images thanks to its choice of various embossed finishes. They have an ultra-removable adhesive backing, meaning the graphics can be easily removed and repositioned time and time again and — thanks to its Class 0 fire rating — it is ideal for applications in public areas that require compliance with strict fire regulations.
Jerry Hill, VP of New Business Development for Drytac, adds, “We really value the relationship we have with DreamWraps. They are precisely the type of dynamic, creative and friendly organization that we want to work with. They can see the possibilities that our media can offer and they produce fantastic output with it that their clients love.”
As well as providing customizable wallcoverings for residential customers, DreamWraps is growing in the commercial sector, especially within the hotel and hospitality industry. Sharita continues, “Hotels tend to change their decor every few years, so they really appreciate the Drytac solution which makes changing the wallpaper a breeze. It’s an ideal solution for hotels!”
“Digital printing onto vinyl technology has made creating incredible individually-designed rooms a real possibility for more and more people and businesses. It is definitely easier to print and apply Drytac wall covering than it is to paint a wall — and the finished job looks amazing. Drytac’s range of products and textures allow us to deliver a huge range of solutions for our customers,” she says.
