Dr. Yvonne Galinski Takes Over as Head of R&D at Neschen

Dr. Galinski assumed her position on August 1, 2024, bringing extensive academic and professional expertise, making her an ideal fit for this key role. This year, Neschen celebrates its 135th anniversary, continuing its long tradition with a clear focus on innovation and sustainability.

With Dr. Yvonne Galinski’s appointment as Head of Research and Development, Neschen underscores its commitment to advancing innovative and sustainable solutions. The strategic decision to divide laboratory responsibilities between research and development and quality assurance enables a more specialized approach. Dr. Galinski will lead Research and Development, while Dr. Markiewicz will continue to oversee Quality Assurance. This realignment strengthens Neschen’s position as a leader in innovation and ensures the highest product quality.

Dr. Galinski’s experience and expertise

Dr. Yvonne Galinski, originally from Ibbenbüren, Germany, holds degrees in physics and chemistry, followed by a Master’s in Materials Science from the University of Osnabrück. She began her career at Felix Schoeller, a renowned manufacturer of specialty papers and coatings, as a project manager in the development of decorative papers while simultaneously pursuing her doctorate.

In 2017, she transitioned to the development of extrusion coatings and silicone coatings. Thanks to her outstanding expertise and strategic foresight, she quickly rose through various leadership positions, eventually taking on overall responsibility for all laboratory areas. In this role, Dr. Galinski was instrumental in advancements in coating technology that had the potential to set new industry standards. Her work strengthened the company’s innovation capabilities and competitiveness by driving forward innovative solutions and processes in a highly competitive market.
