NEW YORK, N.Y. — November 28, 2018 — As Dior makes a big U.S. push highlighted by the launch of its long-awaited e-commerce website, shoppers in New York City’s Meatpacking District stroll into a magnificent visual display at the brand’s new pop-up boutique.
Duggal Visual Solutions was commissioned by Dior to develop intricate, yet large-scale graphics in what Dior CEO Pietro Beccari described as a “cabinet of curiosities.” Red stripes give an elegant gift wrap appearance in one room. Meanwhile, Dior’s original Toile de Jouy print is “modernized with the addition of unexpected animals – such as, tigers, bears and giraffes, that transport you into a magical realm throughout the temporary space,” MR Magazine wrote.
Duggal wrapped the walls using custom vinyl wallpaper, matching the floors with a laminated vinyl and spending hours ensuring impeccable color matching between both elements. Our installers were able to connect the crossovers to perfection, and we also wrapped podiums to give the designs a full-room feel. Dior’s executives loved the outcome so much that they asked us to return and wrap the front entrance. See photos below, and visit the Dior pop-up at 400 W 14th St. for a truly unique in-store experience.
