- Dave Brewer, CTO, Image Options: Brewer has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Image Options in 2011, he held multiple operations and technology positions at Vertis Communications dating back to 1996. In 1990, he was a Co-Founder of a company called Pacific Color Connection, which was sold to Vertis Communications in 1996.
- Jonathan Read, Color Management Specialist, Media One Digital Imaging (Booth 3333): After studying photography, printing and color science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Read entered the digital printing industry in 2005 as a digital imaging specialist at a digital imaging substrate manufacturer. His responsibilities focused on many aspects of digital printing including; technical support, implementing testing platforms to ensure the quality and consistency of manufactured goods, graphic design, overseeing the production of sample prints and characterizing (ICC profiling) over 115 different substrates on a wide range of industry leading inkjet printers and RIP software.
- Michael Sanders, VP, Pacific Coast Fabrics (Booth 2445): Pacific Coast Fabrics is a manufacturer and distributor of fabrics for digital printing, a company that Sanders and his partner, Brian Vieweg, created in 1995. His experience with digital printing goes back to the early days of its existence; prior to the start of Pacific Coast Fabrics, Sanders served as VP of Cal-Pacific Dyeing and Finishing for more than 25 years.
- Ray Weiss, Digital Imaging Specialist, SGIA (Booth 2245): Weiss joined the Association in 2014. He provides solutions and technical information on digital printing as well as digital equipment, materials and vendor referrals. He oversees several workshops at SGIA, along with the association’s digital equipment evaluation program. Weiss is responsible for SGIA’s Digital Color Professional certification program, and is an instructor for both this program and the Color Management Boot Camps. His 25+ year career in the graphics industry has spanned owning his own prepress and offset business to digital wide-format sales, training, support and service.
- James Coulston, Technical Service Engineer, Sensient Imaging Technologies Inc. (Booth 211): Coulston has been working in the industry for 20 years. His experience includes production with both large- and grand-format printers. Since 2013 Coulston has worked for Sensient, where he is responsible for training the distribution channel on the use of our products and how to optimize their use.
- Lily Hunter, Product Manager, Roland DGA — Textiles and Consumables (Booth 601): Hunter holds extensive industry experience and knowledge, having held various sales support and product management positions with Arlon Graphics over the past 14 years. In her role today, she is responsible for managing Roland’s dye sublimation portfolio, as well as the company’s media and ink product lines.
- Kerry Maguire King, Director of Research and Development, Spoonflower: Spoonflower is an Internet-based company that enables individuals to purchase custom printed fabric, wallpaper and gift wrap. King is a recognized speaker and author in the digital textile printing area, and has professional experience in sewn product development, apparel fit and sizing, and emerging technologies for the apparel industry, including 3D technology for apparel design.
