Is your ability to match named colors spotty? Are you able to visually tune a customer-provided color sample? Brush up on your skills by attending the session, “Matching Brand Colors, Spot Colors, and Customer Color Samples in Grand Format,” on Wednesday at 10:00 am in Room C146. Led by color management and G7-certified expert Dan Reid, president of RPImaging, Inc., attendees will learn what constitutes a spot color, and the importance of spot colors in design. Reid will also cover how spot colors can be specified in Adobe applications and the ramifications of these choices downstream for printing. To round out the presentation, says Reid, “We'll touch upon emerging trends and platforms for managing brand colors.”
