Advanced Digital Services (ADS) in Livermore, California, has been acquired by Crisp Imaging of Orange County. Crisp added five companies in 2022; ADS brings to eight the number of companies purchased since 2021.
ADS was founded in 1980 by Mike and Linda Attebery and has been part of Northern California’s Tri-Valley business community for 42 years. It provides reprographics services – scanning, copies, archiving, and digital printing – plus equipment leasing, sales, and on-site facilities management for the architectural, engineering, and general business community.
“ADS is a full-service reprographics company with excellent customer service built on longstanding relationships, a perfect fit for our company,” said Gary Crisp, founder, CEO, and president of Crisp Imaging. “We are honored and grateful to Mike and Linda for entrusting us with their business. This new acquisition allows Crisp Imaging to grow its footprint in the Northern California market and expand its reach in the fast-growing public works sector.”
The Atteberys selected Crisp Imaging over other potential buyers. Mike Attebery commented, “Gary Crisp listens as well as he leads. That impressed me. He was intrigued by how we do business and what he could learn from us rather than coming in and applying a preset template to our shop. There is a level of respect that everyone in our shop appreciates. It’s nice to work with a company with the crew and the resources to explore what can be done in our industry.”
All three full-time ADS workers will remain on staff. They are office administrator and the founders’ daughter, Andrea Attebery, tech specialist Jerry Addleston, and store manager and reprographics expert Kade Gomes. ADS will continue to operate out of its location at 324 Earhart Way in Livermore.
