GLENVIEW, IL — January 13, 2017 — Absolute Inkjet, Inc., a Glenview, Ill.-based manufacturer of digital inks and media, has launched Sublim8 inks that enable any Epson wide format model to be converted into a dye sublimation printer.
Users of standard Epson wide format machines can now repurpose their printer at a much lower cost compared to purchasing a bespoke sublimation model. Sublim8 inks produce vivid color, have great fade resistance and are supplied in ready to use cartridges and in bulk for use with refillable bulk ink systems. To ensure a smooth printer change over, Sublim8 cleaning products and conversion guides are supplied along with free ICC color profiles for accurate color.
Sublim8 inks are available for most current and existing Epson wide format models including the SureColor P and T Series.
"We have been helping customers convert Epson printers to specialist inks for over 12 years now and are experts in the process" explains Tony Martin, Absolute Inkjet president “Sublim8 products offer printer owners the opportunity to enter the lucrative sublimation market without investing in a new machine.”
