Canon Helps to Fuel Yotta Sky’s Growth

Yotta Sky is a full-service provider of digital printing and signage. It provides a wide array of printing solutions — from graphic design to installation. It has production facilities in Miami and Orlando, FL, and in Puerto Rico, which allows it to efficiently manage quality control, and consistently deliver amazing products for its clients. 

Headed by Jose Guitierez, his firm utilizes numerous large-format digital printing tools to fuel its growth. To help support the growth in demand for window, wall and building wraps, signs and banners, Yotta Sky recently invested in Canon (Booth N1009) Colorado roll-to-roll printers. 

It presently has multiple units in its Miami and Orlando facilities, and are planning to add two more Colorados in Puerto Rico, replacing four latex devices.

Over the years in its production facilities, Yotta Sky has utilized a variety of large-format roll-to-roll technologies including solvent, latex, and now most recently Canon Colorado UVgel. Customer demand for faster turnaround was one of the key drivers in making the decision to change to UVgel. Other factors included: Colorado producing the equivalent of three latex devices; scratch resistant prints; shorter drying time; and the elimination of the need to laminate prints. This helped create savings by reducing both material and labor. In addition, Yotta Sky is now able to produce customer projects in one shift. Prior to the Colorado, it would need to run two shifts just to keep up with customer demands.
