ATLANTA, Ga. – November 6, 2018 – Dye-sublimation paper and textile provider Beaver Paper announced the launch of its new Backlit 75 display fabric during the 2018 SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, Nev. The backlit fabric garnered immediate industry buzz, attendees noting its impressive quality and capabilities. Beaver Paper began development of the Backlit 75 more than two years ago, the resulting product addressing several concerns consumers have with other backlit fabrics on the market.
“We were really shooting for the Holy Grail of backlit fabrics.” says Jeff Mills, textiles manager and product developer at Beaver Paper. Many customers expressed the need for a backlit fabric that stretches in both directions, eliminates pinholes and would produce a smooth, high-quality finish. “We were able to achieve all of these features, along with producing a fabric that is extremely wrinkle and crease resistant.” The fabric’s vertical and horizontal stretch capability does away with the need to roll the fabric for shipping, cutting down on transportation costs. “There is no other product on the market that touches, prints and performs like our Backlit 75,” notes Mills, “It’s as close to a perfect backlit as you can get.”
Backlit 75 is the newest addition to Beaver Paper’s TexStyles graphic fabric line. The TexStyles line includes several superior quality dye-sublimation and direct to fabric textiles, including the 2017 SGIA Product of the Year nominated fabric “SEG”. (silicone edge graphics)
