Print Panther is First in Canada to Acquire Konica Minolta’s AccurioWide 160

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. (Konica Minolta), a leader in the Graphic Communications industry, is pleased to announce the first Canadian acquisition of its flagship wide format offering, the AccurioWide 160, by Print Panther (the Company) in Oakville, Ontario. The unique capabilities of the AccurioWide 160 will allow the Company to expand its service offerings to further address the needs of its clientele.

The AccurioWide 160 launched in Canada in December 2018 and is the first-ever Konica Minolta-branded wide format offering. The device is equipped with Konica Minolta KM1024i print heads (with 2 channels of white, allowing for fast inline white printing applications), and utilizes UV ink technology that incorporates more colour pigment per droplet, reducing ink consumption compared to other printers on the market. Outstanding print quality, with a large colour gamut and outstanding colour vibrancy, is achieved by printing up to 1440 x 720 dpi print resolutions. For print production savings, a combination of air-cooled ultraviolet light (UV) and LED curing lamps speed up ink drying times, and, in most cases, the LEDs will last the life of the printer.
