Avoid the Pitfalls and Maximize Opportunities Presented by Web-to-Print Software
Web-to-print (W2P) solutions are a staple of commercial, in-plant, and packaging printers. “What You Should Know About Web-to-Print Software: Beware the Pitfalls,” presented on Friday, October 25th at 10:00am in Room C147 by Reuben Quesus, RacadTech Director of Business Development, is focused on how to better understand W2P adoption rates, print service provider (PSP) requirements, pain points, and opportunities of W2P end users. Attendees will learn how to maximize business opportunities presented by W2P.
“The content in this session is based on research culled together from a survey of over 1,000 respondents regarding their adoption of W2P (or lack thereof),” says Quesus. It will cover the various options that PSP's can go about to obtain a W2P solution. These options include:
- Proprietary technologies available today as well as the practices that will allow you to also assemble your own infrastructure internally through publicly available tools. It will educate attendees to competently weigh the advantages and disadvantages of open source vs. proprietary solutions
- Technologies will cover website content management systems, e-commerce systems & options, product options, various product editors and production management tools
“The content will be backed by market research, user experience, and make available white papers on web to print technology that is 'Leading the Technology Curve' with a focus on solutions that are flexible and modular to help achieve the goals of nearly any print and graphics manufacturer,” explains Quesus. “There is a polar shift in the way W2P technologies are being applied.”
The insights gained from the survey allow manufacturers and related stakeholders to assess their current W2P offering against those of their peers and competitors, and identify how best to move forward with the opportunity.
“Adopting a web to print solution is a major investment in money and more importantly – time,” acknowledges Quesus. “If you are going to adopt a W2P solution, get the decision right from the get go. This session is going to be an eye opener to both PSPs that are already utilizing W2P technologies, and those that have yet to take the plunge.”
Attendees will be better informed so that there is no waste of time and resources in taking the right steps to implement the right solution for their businesses.
