Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Announces Change to 2021 Wrap Training Classes
Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced the addition of a new trainer to their industry-leading vehicle wrap training program as well as an extension to the 2021 wrap training schedule. Avery Dennison offers two hands-on courses — Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced — and a certification exam that together provide a full coverage platform of success for any wrap shop or freelance installer.
Charlie Trujillo, Owner/CEO of Lettering Express in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, joins trainers Justin Pate, John Duever, and Chad Parrish. Trujillo holds multiple certifications, has participated in wrap competitions all over the world, and brings over 15 years of industry experience to the program. Per Trujillo, "I'm super excited to join such a great team, I feel like each of us brings something special to the table. I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with the industry!"
Avery Dennison’s original 2021 training schedule filled quickly. With closed classes and growing waiting lists through the month of October, the company recently announced an extended schedule for the year. “We have a lot of passionate people ready to learn, so we wanted to give them more chances to do just that,” Graeme McKnight, Avery Dennison Marketing Associate, said.
Avery Dennison’s workshops and Certified Wrap Installer (CWI) certification program were developed in collaboration with internationally renowned wrap installer Justin Pate. The focus of the program is on building real world skills that increase profits and quality while streamlining workflow. Each attendee receives a free 25-yard roll of either a full print kit or color change film, application tools and a discount membership to The Wrap Institute — an $850 value. “Our Supreme Wrapping™ Film and Digital classes are primarily hands-on training,” McKnight said. “Instructors focus on cutting skills, properties of the material and installation techniques.”
The CWI Certification is recommended for installers who have completed at least ten full wraps and/or completed both the Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced workshops. Once an individual has passed their final exam they will have earned their official Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer credentials, representing the highest standard of professionalism and skill in the wrap industry.
