Advanced Greig Laminators (AGL) is introducing its next generation 64 series laminators to its lineup of wide-format laminating systems – the 64 HP series.

AGL 64 HPT Laminator
The 64 HP series is available in 3 machine configurations – the 64 HP (top and bottom heat), 64 HPT (top heat), and 64 HPC (no heat). The 64 HPT laminator will be featured at this year’s ISA show in Las Vegas, April 23- 25th. The 64 HPT is a collaboration of AGL’s industry proven features and designs that have been used in our Wide Format line for the past 25+ years. The 64 HPT’s compact design brings the same “High Production” capabilities that our AGL 6400 and 64i laminators have been known for. All of the 64 HPT’s supply and rewind stations are cantilevered, allowing the 64 HP series to increase production and maintain consistent and reliable laminating output. This swingout shaft design facilitates easy loading and unloading of materials. The 64 HPT also features the same industrial, top heated nip roller assembly used in our 64T and Encore SH series laminators. The 64 HPT is ideal for the vehicle wrap industry laminating PSA overlaminates to printed vinyl media while using AGL’s Print-Smart brand of printable medias. Standard features included on the 64 HPT:
- “Repeatable Tension Control Systems” on all material stations to eliminate the guess work
in proper production setup - Operator control panels on the front and back of the machine for ease of use
- Removable infeed table for simple webbing of the machine
- Production speeds of 30 fpm
Finishing capabilities include roll-to-roll laminating, mounting, pre-masking, decaling, and over laminating using PSA and thermal laminates.
Optional equipment and features include:
- Upper unwind slitting to custom slit rolls of laminating films
- Heavy duty In-Line rotary trimming to eliminate additional labor requirements downstream
- Static Elimination system to control static discharge and repel airborne particulates that are drawn into the lamination process
