NAPCO Media, the PRINTING United Alliance, and Wide-Format Impressions have announced that Agfa has taken the second keynote sponsorship of the 2021 Wide-Format Summit, to be held at the Hyatt Lost Pines in Austin, TX on July 28-30, 2021.
The Wide-Format Summit is an invitation-only event designed for senior executives from printing companies that have significant wide-format printing operations or imminent plans to invest in the technology. The agenda, which can be viewed at wideformatsummit.com, combines thought-provoking keynote sessions with interactive case studies highlighting innovative applications in the field and in-depth 1:1 meetings between attendees and technology solution providers. The focus throughout the Summit will be on the steps forward-thinking executives must take during the recovery to grow, improve, and optimize their wide-format businesses.
“Agfa is very pleased to be a Keynote Partner for the inaugural Wide-Format Summit,” said Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Strategic Business Development & Distribution, Agfa North America. “We believe very strongly in events that enable print executives, technology solution providers, and thought leaders in the industry to network and focus on their collective future. It’s especially important for such collaborative discussions to be taking place now, coming out of the pandemic. The industry has needed an event like the Wide-Format Summit for some time, and we’re proud that Agfa will be a partner in enabling it to happen.”
As a top-level keynote sponsor, Agfa will participate in the opening night presentation, “Four Topics the Wide-Format Industry Cannot Ignore,” a session to be led by Editorial Director and Wide-Format Impressions Editor-in-Chief Denise Gustavson. Earlier, HP announced its support as a Keynote Sponsor. Sponsors will have ample opportunities to network with these highly qualified decision makers, including at social events and meals, private case study presentations, and prescheduled 1:1 meetings – all taking place in the plush resort setting of the Hyatt Lost Pines. The organizers anticipate the two remaining Keynote Sponsorship slots will be filled soon.
NAPCO’s events team will work in conjunction with the Hyatt Lost Pines to take all health and safety requirements deemed necessary. Originally, the Wide-Format Summit was to be held simultaneously with the Inkjet Summit, NAPCO’s hosted-attendee event for the production inkjet space, but the two events will now be held back-to-back over the course of the week to facilitate social distancing and other precautions.
