Ability Diseño Gráfico adds third Kongsberg Digital Finishing System

Cardboard packaging and point of sale display specialist, Ability Diseño Gráfico (Ability DG), has invested in a third Kongsberg digital cutting solution to boost productivity and efficiency at its state-of-the-art facility in Murcia, Spain.

With more than 20 years of experience, the specialist company is one of the market leaders in high-quality large format flexo and digital printing. Already using the Kongsberg XP44 and Kongsberg C60 cutting table, the company has not only added a new Feeder unit to its existing digital finishing setup but has also installed a new table with an automated Feeder and Stacker.

“The impressive stack height and quick automatic load cycles make short-run production of a wide variety of materials simple, while the underside camera – which scans each sheet from below, on the print side - automatically locates the registration marks, barcodes, and the corner of the sheet,” he said. “This can save the operator as much as thirty minutes on each setup, boosting productivity without compromising on quality.”
