3 Weeks Until the Expo: 3 Days of Products and Demos

We're now less than three weeks until the opening of PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas, September 10-12. The Expo spans three jam-packed days featuring education, networking, fun, and innovative products and demos on the show floor. Although we couldn't possibly list all of the products you will be able to check out while in Vegas, here are a few to keep an eye out for.

varioPRINT iX1700

Although Canon plans to have a few products highlighted at its booth (C348A-B), you won't want to miss the U.S. trade show debut of the varioPRINT iX1700 production inkjet press. The color sheetfed inkjet press boasts speeds up to 165 letter ipm and is ideal for diverse print environments. It supports various media types up to 14.3x26".

TASKalfa Pro 15000c and TASKalfa Pro 55000c

If you stop by the Kyocera booth (C2175), you'll have the chance to check out its TASKalfa Pro 15000c and TASKalfa Pro 55000c devices. Although the products debuted at the Expo last year, for those who didn't get a chance to check out the high-speed inkjet devices in Atlanta or at drupa earlier this year, now is the chance. If you're looking for sustainable printing options, it would be worth a look.

Truepress JET S320

The Truepress JET S320 from SCREEN (C1185) is a digital sheetfed inkjet press that prints directly onto offset-coated papers. The device prototype debuted at PRINTING United Expo last year and will be on the show floor this year.

Ricoh Pro VC80000

If you're looking for a high-speed web-fed inkjet solution, take a walk over to Ricoh's booth (C2161) to check out the Ricoh Pro VC80000. It is designed for direct mail, catalogs, magazines, and commercial printing applications on coated media up to 300 gsm.

AccurioPress C14010s

In the digital toner space, Konica Minolta (C3491) will be showcasing its AccurioPress C14010 with a fifth station for white toner. The model is based on the company's flagship AccurioPress C14000, a high-volume, toner-based production printing press.

Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS with Robotic Automation

Everyone loves robots and this year there will be plenty of robotic automation on the show floor. One such product is Agfa's Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS with Robotic Automation system. It is a 3.3m hybrid wide-format UV-LED press that's compatible with rigid and roll substrates.
