The constant barrage of tariff news in 2025 can feel overwhelming for apparel decorators. From the steady stream of updates on policies, to which countries are involved, to changing deadlines, keeping up with all of it might leave some shops in a frenzy. In response to the constant questions, PRINTING United Alliance — with the help of Apparelist — is conducting a special survey on the effects of tariffs on the apparel decoration industry.
A few weeks ago, Stephanie Buka, government affairs coordinator, PRINTING United Alliance, discussed the impact of tariffs on the printing industry in her latest article for PRINTING United Alliance. She also offered insight for apparel decorators specifically on how to navigate the tariff news.
Now, with the help of the Alliance’s chief economist Andy Paparozzi, the special survey on the effects of tariffs will help answer additional questions. Containing just six questions, the goal is for decorators to provide real feedback on the impacts the change is already having.
