Where does your inspiration come from? It could be a beautiful sunset (or sunrise if you’re an early riser). Maybe it’s mountain vistas or the rocky shoreline of your favorite coast. Perhaps it’s the work of a renowned artist who created some of the world’s greatest masterpieces. Or maybe it’s the strength we see in each other as we strive to accomplish goals and overcome challenges.
Whatever it is that helps to light your internal creative fire, you could say we are often inspired by admiring the people that surround us, as well as the work they create.
This can also be true in a professional sense. We admire companies that perform well, that are efficient and well-run, and those that give back to their communities. When we see graphics that are eye-catching and installed impeccably, they certainly catch our eye and make us wonder who produced the print and installed it. Sometimes we’ll see something installed in such a unique way that it helps germinate ideas for what we might be able to do for this client or that customer that would help make their brand stand out in a similar way.
Seeing each other’s work also helps us to celebrate the larger wide-format community we are all part of. That camaraderie pushes each of us individually to do more, to create in different ways so we can inspire others as much as they have inspired us.
Wide-Format Impressions wants to help showcase the innovation, inspiration, and creativity of our industry, so we’re asking for printers, their OEM partners, and brands to send us examples of eye-catching and outstanding jobs that have been produced over the last two years. We’ve set up a quick form where you can submit some initial information and then we’ll reach out to you to get all the details.
We want to hear from you — and see all the fabulous work you do each and every day!
